Salem Khamis Al Mazrouei, Vice President of the UAE Badminton Federation, congratulated junior players for performing well at the Al Masah Sports UAE Badminton Gold Junior Championship 2023.
Concluded yesterday evening in style at the Al Masah Sports Services courts in Sharjah, the second Junior Gold ranking tournament of the year, the Al Masah event set a new benchmark in event organizing regarding the number of participating players and the quality of organizing a junior event.
Conducted over the last two weekends, above 260 junior players categorically in age groups of Under 9 to under 19 (18 categories) participated in the event. Sanctioned and conducted by the UAE Badminton Federation technical team, the Al Masah event was supported by sponsors, including Aeroplane (Shuttlecocks) and Radio KeralAM 1476 (Media Partner).
Mr. Salem Khamis Al Mazrouei, Vice President of UAE Badminton Federation, Mr. Dony C Mathew, (Managing Director, Al Masah Sports Services), Mr. Firoz Khan (Aeroplane), and Mr. Deepak Nambiar (Radio KeralAM 1476) graced the finals ceremony with their presence and awarded trophies and medals.
Being the Holy month of Ramadan, the organizer Al Masah Sports Services and the sponsors arranged to serve iftar packets to everyone who came to the venue during the grand finale.
The next tournament in the UAE Badminton Junior Ranking Circuit is the 44th India Club event, which will start on the 5th of May, 2023. Please stay tuned for more news and updates
