UAE Badminton is delighted to announce the Dubai Junior International Series 2018, at the NAS Sports Complex in Dubai from the 26th to 30th of September 2018.
Having conducted four editions of BWF Dubai World Super Series Finals from 2014 to 2017, and the BWF Fazza Para-Badminton event in 2018, the UAE Badminton Team is all excited to welcome a sizable number of Junior players from all over the world this time. Sanctioned by Badminton Asia and Badminton World Federation, the Dubai Junior International Series will have the following events under the age groups Under 19 and 15.

Entry: Entry to this International tournament is through the BWF online entry system, via respective Member Associations. Should you wish to participate, contact your National Federation to send your entry as per the details available from the link given below.
For the first time in history, UAE based players will also have a chance to enter this prestigious event (conditions apply), under the UAE Badminton entry regulations which will be published very soon.

Badminton in UAE
Badminton development in the UAE started in 2014, when BWF and Dubai Sports Council came together to launch Shuttle Time Dubai, the BWF’s Badminton grassroots development program which led to the increased popularity of Badminton in UAE, and hosting of the prestigious season-ending Dubai Super Series Finals from 2014 to 2017.
With the addition of BWF Fazza Para-Badminton International in April, Dubai Junior International Series in September and the Dubai International Challenge in November, we are proud to have added on to the legacy of UAE Badminton. Our year-long activities targeting badminton enthusiasts starting from school children to professional players and from amateur players to world-class academics have created a sustainable ecosystem for Badminton in the Emirates within a short duration.
